Rachelle Vance

Rachelle’s journey with photography began in NJ when she was 13. She planted a sunflower seed in her back yard, waited for it to grow, then took its photo. That photo, framed in bright yellow, off center and blurry, hangs in her house today, to keep her, to remind her, to guide her.
“I want my photographs to reflect more about what I feel versus what I see. Every day I wake up wanting to learn something new, to see something in a way I’ve never seen, and by paying attention to what’s happening around me.  I want to show nature in the most beautiful way possible, by using natural frames and light, then waiting for the best moments..  As an Ethical Wildlife Photographer, I want my images to inspire people to take action on environmental issues.”
